Lantern Procession

Everyone is invited to join a colourful array of lanterns and illuminated puppets, led by the famous  Red Rebels Brigade.  We hope to depict the incredibly vibrancy and diverse range of marine life celebrating what we have and also what we have to loose. 

We ask you bring your own lights  and even ones you have made .

Rhythms of Resistance take some of their inspiration from the “blocos-afros” bands. They are providing workshops all day and leading the evening lantern procession.

Red Rebel Brigade was devised by Doug Francisco and Justine Squire from Bristol’s Invisible Circus for the Extinction Rebellion Spring uprising April 2019 in London.

Their powerful silent, beautiful performance speak a million words.
